Rochester Stampings has the ability to produce either hard or soft tooling for its customers in-house. Further we can produce quick turnaround tools and tools for R&D using our proprietary holder system. This can reduce time during development when working with engineering teams to validate and test designs and under certain tolerance circumstances we can meet final part production requirements.

Once we have your final part design our Toolmaker and Engineering team will work with you to produce the best option of tooling: blank, pierce, form, compound or progressive die. We utilize SolidWorks, Mastercam Mill and Mastercam Wire, combined with years of tool-making experience to bring “Production Wise Dies” to meet your requirements.

Tool Transfers

Peace of mind has never been this easy. We have transferred thousands of tools since 1958. We make the transfer easy for buyers and engineers by managing the transfer process upfront. We can take care of all of the details for you. We can accept your tools to run your production parts. Transferring tools can be a difficult experience. We are in control, so you can relax! We will bring tools to our facility, evaluate them, offer enhancements, if needed, take digital images of condition, setup up the die and run samples, and optimize the process with you.
